Allow Kimberly Michelle Ramirez Perez to Continue Education at Campbell High School

The Issue

Kimberly Michelle Ramirez Perez is a cherished and active member of the Campbell High School community in Smyrna, GA. She is not just a dedicated member, but also an industrious and academically ambitious student who is enrolled in the dual enrollment program. Alongside her academic focus, Kimberly exhibits her leadership skills in her active role in school clubs such as DECA and HOSA.

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, Kimberly's family had to move to a smaller home that is outside of the Campbell High School district. Consequently, this move may compel Kimberly to change schools. Changing schools can disrupt a student's academic progress, social connections, and overall well-being. Research indicates that high school mobility can be associated with a drop in school performance and an increased risk of dropout (American Psychological Association).

Campbell High School and Smyrna community stand to lose a committed student and active participant in school activities. On behalf of Kimberly and her family, we plead with the school district to allow Kimberly to finish her high school journey where she started, where she has forged strong educational and personal ties. Let's let Kimberly finish her high school career in the nurturing educational environment she's grown to be an integral part of.

We urge you to stand with Kimberly Michelle Ramirez Perez and the Smyrna community. Please sign this petition to allow Kimberly to continue her education at Campbell High School. Your signature can make a world of difference in preserving the continuity of Kimberly's academic and personal development.
