Maayanot Yeshiva High School is a great environment. It's a very inclusive environment from the freshmen to the seniors; it's a very inclusive place where people can talk to each other and text each other on school-wide chats. Which brings me to my first point: iPads are a way to include one another; for example, people share links to chessed chats and tehillim chats to share around and join. Other messages include people from all grades asking for food if someone's running out to Queen Anne, which is a way that people interact school-wide.

Another reason why banning iPads would affect day-to-day life in Maayanot is the people who take notes on iPads. Many people bought iPads instead of computers to take notes on, and kids who have both iPads and computers still take notes on iPads. iPads are easier for some kids to take notes on iPads rather than computers; it's just simpler for some people. It would be a tragedy to lose that way of taking notes for people who benefit from note-taking on iPads.  

iPads are also very helpful for keeping track of planning. I know some might argue that you can just use a planner, but for some people it's hard to write things down, and iPads let them use a planner app. iPads also have a lot more apps on the App Store, which is helpful because the App Store has lots of helpful tools for studying.

One last reason iPads shouldn't be banned is that many kids spent a lot of money on them. Some people may have been saving up a long time to afford one, and it's not fair to take away something that so many people spent money on.

Also Google class room and kahoot work so much better on a iPad
