I will be walking from Oldham to Parliament on Friday 13th June 2025 to urgently bring attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

I will be collating signatures in the form of a petition calling on the UK Government to take immediate and decisive action to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people by ensuring the delivery of essential aid, guaranteeing safe passage and distribution through military support and demanding an immediate ceasefire.

The situation in Gaza is dire, with civilians facing shortages of food, water, medical supplies, and shelter. The UK Government must act swiftly to provide substantial humanitarian assistance to meet the urgent needs of the population.

We insist on the establishment of secure and reliable corridors for the delivery of aid to Gaza. It is imperative that humanitarian organizations have unimpeded access to those in need, and that aid is distributed fairly and efficiently.

Finally, we call for an immediate ceasefire by all parties involved in the conflict. The ongoing violence is causing immense suffering, particularly among children, who are facing starvation, displacement, and trauma. A ceasefire is the first step towards creating an environment where meaningful negotiations can take place and a just and lasting peace can be achieved.

We, the undersigned, urge the UK Government to act now to alleviate the suffering in Gaza, uphold international law, and promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
