Allow homeschoolers to walk at graduation ceremonies!

Allow homeschoolers to walk at graduation ceremonies!
The Issue
Duel enrolled students across the state of Iowa are not allowed to walk at their highschool graduation ceremonies. The reason for this is that we do not have enough "credits" from their chosen school. However, they will have all of the requirements met to get a diploma from the state or an accredited organization. All we want is to not be singled out at graduation. Let us walk the stage, shake someone's hand, and wear our cap and gown. We do not need a diploma from our chosen school. All we ask is that we be allowed to celebrate our success like any other student.
Allowing duel enrolled students to simply walk the stage at graduation has no affect on the school system, because we do not need a diploma. They don't even have to hand anything to us. We simply do not want to be left out from an important occasion and milestone in our high school career, because even though we do not have enough "credits", we are still a student of our chosen highschool. We are allowed to represent our school at national and state level competitions, win awards, participate in activities, and make honor roll, and make our schools look good, so why can't we walk?
Please sign this petition to show Iowa schools that this rule is wrong and discrimination against a section of their students!
