No news is no news

Hi everyone,

Not much to report at the moment.

The Ministerial Intervention application has now been lodged, and we have received an official acknowledgement of lodgement from the Australian Government. Now it’s a waiting game.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community. More than 40 letters of support have been submitted, including letters from the Mayor of Bass Coast, the principal of the primary school that Shamakh attends, and Gomathy and Raj’s bank manager.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to support this wonderful family. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anything further.

In the meantime, if you could please share the petition with 10 friends and ask them to do the same, we can keep the momentum going. Let’s see if we can reach 5,000 signatures! Every signature helps demonstrate the strength of community support for this wonderful family.
