Dogs are currently banned at Abbeydale Sports Club. We feel this is a real shame, and affects many members and supporters of the cricket and rugby clubs, as well as visitors, who would like to bring their dogs to the club as part of the family experience of enjoying sport at Abbeydale.  The reasons for this ban centre around health and safety in relation to dog fouling on playing areas, but we firmly believe members and supporters are responsible owners who do not allow their dogs onto playing areas. We are seeking a compromise to this ban.
