Allow Disney to Sell "Little Einsteins" to Kids2 Inc

Allow Disney to Sell "Little Einsteins" to Kids2 Inc
The Issue
In October 2013, when I was just 12 years old, Disney sold the Baby Einstein brand to Kids II. This decision had a profound impact on me and many others who grew up with these educational shows. However, it seems that one show has been overlooked in this transition - "Little Einsteins".
"Little Einsteins", a hit Disney Junior show that has touched the hearts of countless children and parents alike with its unique blend of entertainment and education, is still owned by Disney. This beloved show deserves the same opportunity as Baby Einstein - to thrive under a company like Mattel which specializes in early childhood products and content.
Little Einsteins is an animated series created by The Baby Einstein Company (which, at the time, was owned by Disney) and animated by Curious Pictures. It was the Baby Einstein Company's first project for preschoolers, and it was designed as an extension of the Baby Einstein line of videos. Like its predecessor, Little Einsteins makes heavy use of classical music. Unlike Baby Einstein, Little Einsteins remains owned by Disney to this very day.
The series follows the adventures of a group of four young children, Leo, June, Quincy, and Annie, who travel around the world in their friend Rocket and go on missions. The group must work together to achieve their goal by solving a problem, helping someone, or finding something.
Previews for Little Einsteins were included on many Baby Einstein DVDs in 2004.
In 2005, The Baby Einstein Company released the first press release for the show:
"The Baby Einstein Company is launching into the $21 billion preschool market with the debut of the Little Einsteins franchise. Created specifically for preschoolers, Little Einsteins builds on the experiences of the Baby Einstein brand and will take children on fun, musical missions of exploration that will take them all over the world, provoking their curiosity and actively seeking their participation."
The sale of Baby Einstein to Kids II proved beneficial for both parties involved. According to reports from The New York Times (2013), after acquiring Baby Einstein, Kids II was able to successfully revitalize the brand while maintaining its core educational values. We believe that "Little Einsteins" can experience similar success under this parent company.
We are calling upon Disney - please consider selling "Little Einsteins" to Kids II so it can continue inspiring young minds in Salt Lake City and beyond under a dedicated company focused on early childhood development.
Please sign this petition if you believe in preserving quality educational content for our children's future!
