First off, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm trying to get the city to change their ordinances to allow designated mobility challenged parking on main street. Since covid, life been a struggle for all.  The addition of the eateries placed in public parking spaces downtown, has  taken away 6 spaces. Parking was already an issue, employees of some businesses routinely park on main as well. In addition,  the "to-go" parking signs also have used up quite a bit of parking spots available.  I'm asking for mobility challenged parking for our residents that can't walk, use crutches, canes and walkers to have better accessibility to visit ALL the store fronts in our beautiful, diverse, and historical district. Let's show our grandparents, parents, friends and neighbors that we see you, we respect you, you are included, you are welcome downtown!
