This petition is personal to me because my dog is like my family, just like many people. He brings me joy, and I am not always able to leave him home by himself. I love going to the beach and dislike being prohibited from entering the beach because of my dog  

I believe instead of dogs being completely excluded from enjoying capitola beach the city should implement designated days where well-behaved, leashed, and vaccinated dogs are allowed on the beach.  Allowing dogs on Capitola Beach on specific days would provide a much-needed opportunity for dog owners to enjoy the beautiful coastline with their furry friends.
