Here's a brief update for the supporters of our petition:

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is currently reviewing our proposal.

Here are some actions you can take: The ODNR is seeking further feedback from private landowners regarding this proposal. If you are acquainted with farmers or other significant landowners in Ohio, please share the presentation with them and encourage their support for this change by reaching out to their county or state Farm Bureau representative. At the very least, request that they do not oppose the ODNR's rule change.

At this juncture, we need as much public input as possible to ensure the ODNR's approval and to enact this proposal before the upcoming '25-26 hunting season. Missing this opportunity means postponing until the '26-27 season.
