We have officially compiled all the reasons for allowing bottleneck cartridges for deer hunting in Ohio and we are expecting some feedback by August.

With Ohio being the only state not allowing bottleneck cartridges and our ballistic data showing that a 350 legend only shoots 90 yards less them a 300 win mag when you shoot parallel to the ground.  There is convincing evidence that allowing bottleneck cartridges would be an effective and safe manner for hunting deer.
