Following a protest on Twitter by a shopper, managers at Tesco have been preventing Belinda the Cat from entering the Tesco at Sunbury, and sometimes forcibly shooed away.

Belinda is a well-loved, local celebrity, with more than 3000 followers on Facebook. Always a joy to see, loved by customers, some who come especially to see Belinda. Also keeps rats and mice at bay.

We would like to see Belinda allowed back to Sunbury Tesco.

I the undersigned, will stop shopping at Tesco if Belinda isn't allowed to return.
