Ari Jaffe, an exemplary student and dedicated member of our community, has unjustly been barred from running for the positon of Student Association President. This prohibition is built on a foundation of unjust ruling, which has dismayed not just Ari, but those who believe in an equitable student association governance. Unfortunately, no legitimate reasons have been provided for this disallowance, which undermines the democratic process and student agency within our school. Therefore, we are calling for fair treatment for Ari and insist on his eligibility for consideration for this leadership role. This situation is not only personally damaging for Ari, a deserving candidate, but it also poses great peril to the very fabric of our student governing system.
