For many of us living in Barrington Creek subdivision, the sweltering summer heat is a significant challenge. Our children have nowhere to swim and cool off due to the current restrictions within our homeowners association (HOA) bylaws that prohibit above ground pools. This limitation not only affects our quality of life but also limits options for affordable recreational activities for families.

Inground pools are a luxury that most families cannot afford. The average cost of an inground pool can range from $28,000 to $55,000 according to HomeGuide (2020). In contrast, above ground pools offer a more economical alternative with costs ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.
