Justice for Laudemer Arboleda killed by Danville PD

Justice for Laudemer Arboleda killed by Danville PD
The Issue
Laudemer Arboleda was 33 years old from Newark, CA and the only son of Jeannie Atienza. On November 3rd, 2018 Laudemer Arboleda was killed by officer Andrew Hall in Danville, CA. Laudemer was followed by Danville police after a resident reported "a suspicious person" near their home. Laudemer was violently and recklessly killed by officer Andrew Hall. Danville police chief Allan Shields recklessly defended this crime as self defense and tried to bury Laudemer's death from public scrutiny. From the dash and body cam video released it is clear that officer Hall was not in harms way and if anything put himself in the path of the car. Video evidence can be viewed in the following link. This video evidence was released 13 months after Laudemer's death.
1. Charges must be filed immediately. The officer involved must be fired, charged, and arrested immediately. There have been no charges thus far (it has been nearly 2 years).
2. Laudemer's family must be paid in damages for wrongful death and the negligence of the Danville Police.
3. California Governor Gavin Newsom must speak up on behalf of Laudemer, and Governor Newsom or Attorney General Xavier Becerra must appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Danville Police Department immediately. An in-house investigation is unacceptable.
4. Shooting into moving vehicles must be banned immediately by the Danville Police Department/Contra Costa County.
5. Chief Shields should resign for the reckless and dangerous defense of this unconstitutional act.
Laudemer was a son, friend, and most importantly, a person. He deserved to be treated as such. He could be any of our children and the city of Danville is not safe with Officer Hall on duty. Let's get justice for Laudemer and his family.
PLEASE help me get the word out, and share this campaign on your social media platforms. Thank you to everyone who is helping in our fight to get justice for Laudemer.
