Glasgow City Council to drop proposals to eliminate parking at Celtic Park on event days
The Issue
To restrict parking in and around the area of both Celtic Park and The Emirates Arena on event days will not only affect Celtic Supporters, but also visitors and tourists to both Celtic Park and the Emirates Arena.
With public transport being unfit for purpose, and the financial effect to businesses in the area, and also, those who are disabled, yet aren't officially registered as such, will not be able to support their team, nor indeed any event at either arena.
These locations are two of the most visited places in Glasgow, for people from all over the world, and should remain that way, with no restrictions to their accessability.
This not only affects these two arenas, but other stadia in Glasgow that attract large crowds, and these are being targeted by Glasgow City Council.
So please vote, and show your objection to these proposals, and have them scrapped.
