We the residents of Ardee City have paid Rs 26000 "refundable deposit" for new connections to DHBVN. Now we are informed that the DHBVN wants to replace our newly installed meters with so called "smart meters" which are untested technology and prone to errors and over billing.

The untested and faulty technology of "smart meters" has already caused spike in power bills for many gurgaon residents.

There is enough evidence that smart meters will cause further problems like steeper bills to people. Ardee residents will be forced to run from pillar to post for correcting such errors besides wasting their precious time.

We demand that the unnecessary and futile exercise of installing "smart meters" be immediately stopped in Ardee City as it is likely to cause unnecessary harassment to residents .

Please sign the petition if  you feel "smart meters" are unnecessary , will increase bills and lead to harassment of residents.
