Hello, my name is Sofia Daddysman, I am a recent High School graduate and I am 19 years old.
Please help me in bringing dire recognition and spreading awareness of the MAJOR CORRUPTION, CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE, EXTORTION and EXCESSIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION currently transpiring, evolving and growing in Hollister, California, San Benito County! (S.B.C.)
There are too many innocent citizens that are suffering at the hands of ruthless Hollister/S.B.C. and it needs to STOP. PLEASE HELP ME BRING THIS APPALLING CORRUPTION TO AN END! I CANNOT DO IT ON MY OWN, I NEED YOUR HELP!
On October first, 2021, at 18 years old, myself and my elderly mother, 54, were falsely arrested and severely beaten black and blue and brutalized by merciless Hollister Police Officers and San Benito County Sheriff's.
Hollister Police Officers illegally, forcefully entered and swarmed into our home without a warrant or probable cause. While we were both practically fully naked, Hollister Officers bodyslammed my mom and I to the ground, and to then stand on our necks and bodies. I was unnecessarily, very tightly double handcuffed. While we were never read our Miranda Rights. My mother suffered from a broken nose and two critical black eyes. We were both profoundly, completely violated, covered in savage welts, deep bruises, handprints, cuts and gashes from head to toe. Our wrists were also cut up and raw. The more we vocalized our pain, the intensity of their violent aggression only increased. We were in searing agony for several months afterwards, including permanent nerve damage!
While in S.B.C. Jail my mother was undeniably treated as inhumanely as possible. My mom was stripped from all clothing and kept fully naked all night in a freezing, concrete cell, in cruel conditions. There was no toilet in her cell, only a hole in the middle of the ground, no toilet paper, no place to sit or lay down and no blankets. She was prevented from making phone calls, drinking water and her daily prescribed medication. Although she wasn't given her daily prescriptions, Sheriff Deputies in the Jail were relentlessly suggesting other drugs to my mother. She was forced to take pills, Ativan, five pills in total within a 72 hour period. It is illegal to administer this barbituate and controlled substance without a prescription or attending physician on site or present!! My mother had a severe allergic reaction, her skin was covered in hives, bright red, taught like a sunburn, and her body was radiating heat while she was cold and shivering. My moms health was not recovering on its own. We went and got tested for Covid-19 which came back negative. Instead, she was diagnosed with a severe case of bronchitis, received from the disgusting conditions and inhumane treatment while falsely incarcerated at S.B.C. Jail.
We are being targeted and terrorized by San Benito County, hunted and stalked by S.B.C. Law Enforcement inorder to prevent us from speaking out to share the truth or receive help!
This case/incident has cost us our family and friends, our home, our vehicle, our financial status, our safety, our mental and physical health, and our ability to live in Eruope. We are being depleted entirely, financially and emotionally, in hopes to discredit our words. We are hiding in a hotel on private property, with less than a few days left... Once we are homeless we will be completely vulnerable.
My mother was born in Eruope, the Netherlands, and is still a Dutch Citizen. We started the process to receive our Dutch Passports around a year ago. We want to move to the Netherlands for our safety. We have family there and I want to go to college in Eruope. Being an immigrant, my mom has even more rights than usual. While in Jail, she was prevented from speaking to the Dutch Consulate located in San Francisco. She was prevented from every given right!
After residing in Hollister, CA for over three years, my mother and I unintentionally uncovered the perilous criminal activity intertwined throughout the entire County. The entirety of tyrannical Hollister City/S.B.C. Officials, S.B.C. Courthouse Officials, District Attorneys Office Officials, D.A. Public Defenders and Law Enforcement are the ONLY formidable criminals I know and see! The corruption starts with but is not limited to: Mayor Ignacio Velazquez, City Manager Brett Miller, City Clerk Christine Black, Commissioner of the S.B.C Superior Court Patrick K. Palacios, District Attorney Candice Hooper, D.A. Lead Investigator Jerome G. Smith, Victim Witnesses Protection Program Coordinator Patricia Selcedo, Police Chief Carlos Reynoso and Sheriff Eric Taylor. These people use their titles and status to their advantage for power and control. Bullying citizens and businesses in Hollister. They want to be on top, protect their careers, will stop at nothing and will eliminate anything or anyone in their paths.
A horrific bullying tactic used to instill fear in us and to set an EXAMPLE: our dog was intentionally poisoned/maliciously murdered as a direct "message" to prevent us from speaking out! Which only made me more determined!
Fourth of July weekend 2021, Hollister Police Department launched their very own Drone Program. Since then, we remain under 24 hour constant surveillance. Police and Sheriff vehicles follow us and consistantly drive past us, wherever we are. Their efforts to prevent us from sharing their dirty secrets, involving and worth millions of dollars. Hollister claims to be the smallest town, yet the ONLY SMALL CITY TO SERVE AS AN ENTIRE COUNTY ALL BY ITSELF?! Not a single sole for monitoring or to "Police" Hollister Law Enforcement!
We were illegally evicted (on January 27, 2022) during Covid-19 and for no apparent reason or cause. Although our landlord, Robert Harmssen, is a lawyer himself, we are also being prevented from all our own belongings, holding them hostage from us. Commissioner Patrick Palacios signature, which is a stamp, is on our eviction notice. He was also the "Judge" assigned to our false arrest case for our first court appearance on December 7th, 2021. Commissioner Patrick Palacios acts as a Judge, although he will be officially sworn in April, 2022. Governor Gavin Newsom is the one who appointed Palacios as a new Judge for S.B.C. and I believe he is also the one who needs to be made aware of what is happening with the decision he has made!
My mother's bank account at Wells Fargo, on 6th St. in Hollister, is being accessed (considered wire fruad) and large amounts of money have disappeared. Over $100,000 does not just vanish. While the bank claims she is responsible for checking her own statements, they refuse any acknowledgement or responsibility of the issue.
All while we have no transportation because their was a GPS tracking device installed in our car, that also allows remote start-stop access to the vehicle.
Since our false arrests in October of last year, our cases are still active and we are currently still being taken back to court till this very day. My mother has been to court nine times for this false case and it's on going. We have had five different Judges appear in the Courtroom on our case. My mom has had three different unethical Public Defenders whom do not defend or advocate on her behalf at all. The entire Courthouse is a full, complete setup from the Judges, the Public Defenders, the District Attorneys and so on. There is no court reporter present and no one is ever sworn in. This goes for every other citizen in Hollister/S.B.C. but they are unaware they are being setup and are blindly pulled into this corrupt system. Even if we were to be actual criminals, NO ONE should EVER be treated this way. This is NOT OKAY and it WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTABLE!!!
