ALL EYES ON NTA

ALL EYES ON NTA
The Issue
Dear NTA,
Please justify all of this
1) Why were the NEET 2024 results announced amidst the Parliamentary Election results when the NEET results was expected to be announced on the 14th of June? Is this a mere co-incidence or statistically planned event?
2) In the press release by NTA, 67 people are scoring 720 marks and ranks 62-67 are from the same centre. (Image attached below)
3) A few candidates are scoring 718/719 (images attached below) In no way is this possible as each question carries 4 marks.
4) There are only 50 seats for general category in AIIMS Delhi, so how is it fair to the candidates who got ranks 51 - 67 with the same score of 720.
5) Coaching institutes are claiming only about 20 of these candidates who scored 720. Who are the rest of them and where are they?
6) Soon after the NEET exam on the 5th of May,2024, NTA regarded the news of the paper leaks as false. Please justify this unexpected unfathomable rank inflation then.
7)
Upto 200 marks of grace have been awarded to candidates. There's no clarity provided by NTA as to how many students have been awarded grace marks across various centres in the country to compensate for the loss of examination time. The numbers are expected to be in thousands leading to the extemely high rank inflation. This is unfair.
The cut off for general category in 2024 is expected to be around 655 that is a huge jump from 2023
Possible solutions:
1) RE-NEET 2024, lakhs of candidates' years of hard work is at stake
2) NEET should be conducted in 2 exams instead of one for the fair allocation of the AIIMS seats, i.e, Mains (for state colleges) Advanced (for AIIMS)
3) The number of attempts per candidate should be limited
4) A different conducting body should conducted the exam in the upcoming years
It has been found through several sources that on the 4th of May 2024 ( a day before the NEET exam) the paper was widely circulated to candidates at a nominal amount, the consequence of which we can now see.
There are lakhs of candidates who've worked hard for several years and despite of all that due to the carelessness of NTA they're unable to get a medical seat. A lot of genuine medical aspirants might even take their life after all of this. There's blood on your hands NTA.
If we don't act quickly, this topic will be suppressed. Please sign this petition and share as much as possible.
