Victory(?)!

I guess I got so busy lately that I forgot to post any updates, and if you haven't seen, we sort of, maybe, got a victory! From AIC's Facebook Page:
"Over the next 30 days we will be celebrating 30 years of Facelift, our debut album released August 21, 1990. Follow along each day to see exclusive interview clips, live performances, and first peeks at our forthcoming Facelift vinyl reissue deluxe anniversary box set, which will be announced and available for pre-sale soon. We are looking forward to sharing memories with you over these next 30 days. To start, featured here is an original Facelift promotional poster from 1990.

I'm hesitant to declare full victory as we don't have any details, and while I personally will be pre-ordering as soon as pre-order becomes available, a box set is not exactly what I had in mind, though I'm not complaining. The only thing I don't like about the box sets are that a lot of times that means the individual record wont be released and the price still remains a barrier for a lot of people. Look at Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by Smashing Pumpkins... And a lot of people don't care for the extras in the box sets.
But sometimes the individual records from these types of things are released (see the latest Bowie and Queen box sets, for example). But those are generally multi-album box sets, instead of a single album with a bunch of extras.
Also we don't know who is doing the mastering or pressing, what source is being used, or if we'll be getting any new photos of the guts of the fabled "Snorkeler" amp or diatribes from it's owner about how he's the only one.
Further it feels weird to declare victory since the timing of this seems to suggest it may have been in the works before this little campaign. So, we'll see how it goes when we get more info.
I was gonna leave off with a quote or a lyric here, but I got nothing. Cheers all!
