PLEASE ALL supporters of this petition object through the council site as listed below, make sure as many objections as possible reach before the NEW DEADLINE 5TH OCTOBER! Checklist of objection points 1. Poor access for the large number of vehicles and clashes with pedestrians as the only right of way into the park from Blenheim road. (no traffic infrastructure unlike the interchange at the stadium, which still only just copes with the traffic) 2. Large traffic and parking problems in the area, we already suffer more than most and this will make the area inaccessible for residents 3. Loss of vital sports land against Sport England guidelines, Bolton County and Breightmet Wanderers and a number of rounders teams regularly use this land. 4. Noise pollution due to closeness to properties, again we already suffer with this with two well used facilities ...this will add lap bells, shouting and encouraging 12 hours 7 days per week. 5. Wildlife, roe deer and many birds use this land as a stop off on their journeys, how will they be affected by the traffic and noise, plus land loss 6. Anti social behaviour, this will be a magnet for local youths to hang round and shout abuse, throw things, damage the track ...this location is isolated and dark after it closes at 9. Motorbikes will also race around the perimeter and on the track as I'm sure the isolated location will not be secure. 7. Loss of Charity land left for the people of Bolton Application No.: 97259/16 Proposal: LAYING OUT OF CYCLE TRACK TOGETHER WITH DEMOLITION AND REPLACEMENT OF PAVILION, ERECTION OF 1.2M HIGH FENCING WITH LIGHTING COLUMNS AND PARKING FOR 40 VEHICLES.
