A hunter sits in a tree stand in a neighbor's yard overlooking my friend Cindy's yard. She took this photo of him with her cell phone. Cindy's yard is posted - NO HUNTING. But if a deer passes below this tree stand, the hunter will shoot it with his bow and arrow, and it will probably run across Cindy's lawn, wounded and in pain. She can see him from her deck and is likely to witness a kill. She will be in danger of the injured deer ramming her or her dogs. This is a dangerous situation. Bow hunting in residential areas in the Town of Huntington should never have been allowed and it must be banned.
