Dear Stedman Cres Neighbours

As you are aware, our residential street Stedman Cres Albury is being subject to speeding traffic which is getting worse. Our street seems to be increasingly used as a shortcut thoroughfare to other parts of Albury. Unfortunately the poor design and current condition of the road is making this increasing traffic load as well as speeding traffic a real safety issue for local residence. 

I have witnessed many near misses as well as 'hoon' driving behaviour. I am concerned that another accident will occur unless something is done to 1. Slow and mitigate speeding traffic and 2. Improve the design and surface of the road. 

It seems strange that Yambla Avenue has had speed humps installed but not Stedman, given that they are both connecting roads. Yambla Court was also completely resurfaced despite minimal traffic (being a no through road) 

We have great neighbours in our lovely street, it is time Albury City Council fixed this issue along with NSW Police to monitor and enforce speeding offences in our street.
