We as a collective of people are tired of seeing our votes in New York wasted. Long island and upstate New York Votes never count because we are always shadowed by a very small area radius with a very large population. This is absolutely unfair, we propose splitting New York Into 3 states . Nassau and Suffolk counties on long island becoming 1 state. The 5 boroughs becoming its own state, and the entire upstate area above the New York City metropolitan area becoming its own state as well. This would pave the way for long island to carry 6 electoral votes as well as upstate New York to carry 6 electoral votes and the New York City metropolitan area carrying the remaining 17. Our vote on long island and upstate New York should count and has not for many many years. Enough is enough....
