In recent months, local shops in Long Eaton have been broken in to or had their windows smashed. Bicycles are being stolen, youths are smashing car wing mirrors, people are attempting to break into cars and the police are not helping. 

The increased crime rate is not fair on law abiding residents and local businesses. Our council tax rates are due to increase but I can guarantee the crimes will get worse.

Long Eaton is no longer the safe family town we want to live in.
