The west end of Alameda is struggling with the consequences of increasing car shows at Alameda Point. For the last few weekends, numerous drag racing cars have been dangerously speeding and swerving through surrounding neighborhoods. A number of them have nearly hit children and pedestrians who are out walking on the sidewalks. Others have brazenly run red lights as they race each other in broad daylight! This puts everyone at risk and must stop! 

Please sign this petition if you are in favor of removing the Alameda Point car shows from our beloved city. Let us send a message to city council that we are not going to tolerate the dangerous behaviors associated with these shows!
