Dear Senator Al Franken:

As we all know, Prince's priceless body of work is in grave danger because he does not have a wife or child as legal heir to protect it. 

Now his work is going to be divided up -- dissected! -- and handed out in pieces. Given to people who could sell his incredible songs for tacky TV Commercials!  Pillaged to pay death taxes! A fire sale of this amazing work!

 Prince may not have left a will, however he DID clearly state his 'will' in an interview...  He said he would one day "give his vault music away" -- ( see 1:42 in this video:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=vKprC9 ) – Prince wanted to share his music with people everywhere. That is always what he was all about. THAT was his will.

 Regardless of his will/intention, there is simply no other artist like Prince.

 He is utterly unique.

 Unbelievably talented.

 He is a true American National Treasure.

We should protect and preserve all his music and videos and share them with the whole world.

 Prince was born and lived his whole life in Minnesota. So we are hoping you could rise up on behalf of this son of your state. That you could petition congress to have Prince's work protected from the 'thieves in the temple.'
