Bad News

I was updated this evening that the City of Akron tried to hold a special meeting with the School Board today. The school board denied the meeting and rescheduled for September 22nd.

To keep things moving forward and to get our kids back playing all sports I have spoken with a few other parents and an attorney. We feel that the best course of action would be to file an injunction against the Akron School Board and the State of Ohio by this Friday. I fully understand if you don't want to donate but I have created a GoFundMe account gf.me/u/yuf2kf 

The lawyer has already successfully represented a sports team earlier this year against the State of Ohio. He has agreed to cap all legal fees at $10,000. If each of us donated $5 dollars we would be there.  Any extra raised or not used would go directly to the Athletic Department for all of the schools to use.

To show I am serious about this cause I have personally donated $100 because I fully believe this will get our kids back out there. 

Peaceful Protest - 8/27/20 4:00 pm Admin Building

Some of the local high schools have scheduled a peaceful protest outside of the Administration Building at 4:00 PM tomorrow. I've been told to make signs and wear a mask to show your support for bringing back all athletics.
