This sign serves no purpose, is dangerous and needs to be moved or removed totally.  

When leaving Save-On-Foods and turning west on 40th, you are asked to stop in what appears to be the middle of the road, after you have passed the crosswalk and after the lane beside you can begin moving into your lane...
