Pets can get really scared & die of anxiety when transported in CARGO of aeroplanes. India is a huge country, yet negligible options to carry your pet along.
It can be a relief to pet owners and a growing business opportunity for domestic airlines, which is probably unexplored.
- Allow safe & owner accompanied travel of most Pets (within crate) in Airplane CABIN (not Cargo).
- Change rule of the pilot having right to refuse intake of pet.
- Relax rules to match the international standards.
Examples:
a) AmericanAirlines & JetBlue allow the weight of the carrier and pet upto 20 lbs/9kg in cabin.
b) After 74 deaths in a decade, Delta banned pets from being checked like luggage in 2015.
Pls, sign & spread this petition so that not only just AIR INDIA but other private airlines also implement the allowance of pets on boards in Indian domestic flights.
