Online verification by NMCN for nurses relocating to United kingdom

Online verification by NMCN for nurses relocating to United kingdom
The Issue
On the 7th of October 2019, the Nursing and midwifery coucil in United kingdom made changes to the application process for nurses outside EU. This changes include online verification for nurses by regulators in their home country as opposed to verifying manually. Nursing & midwifery council in Nigeria has since then refused to cooperate with verifying nurses electronically as other countries have and insist on manual verification which is no longer accepted in the United kingdom. Despite various pleas and visits by nurses in Nigeria to the Registrar, the answer was still No to Electronic verification. Now we look up to Senate president of Nigeria, The ministry of health and Education, the human rights activist and the general population to help us get the Registrar to listen to our pleas so nurses can be able to migrate smoothly.
