On April 8th, only three days after hearing about the Coalition for Better School's request to restore historical names, another group - Claim the Names - sent a letter requesting the School Board to Affirm the Current Names of the Schools, Mountain View and Honey Run. Another request was sent a week later when the agenda for the Work Session was released. To date, the School Board has not responded to this request, nor has it added the request to the agenda.

Both Claim the Names and Coalition for Better Schools are anonymous and unofficial groups. Why should one request be taken over the other's?
