Advocating for Fairness: The Need for Fortnite Servers in Southeast Asia

Masalahnya

It has been six years since the submission of the petition on April 2, 2018, by Danny Mayson regarding "South East Asia (SEA) Servers for Fortnite by Epic Games," and unfortunately, there has been no response from Epic Games.

This petition aims to once again bring attention to the absence of Fortnite servers in Southeast Asia, which has placed SEA players at a significant disadvantage for a prolonged period. Despite a previous petition in 2018 requesting Epic Games to address this issue, there has been no response. This petition is a plea for Epic Games to understand and acknowledge the challenges faced by South East Asia Fortnite players.

Players in this region consistently experience high latency, with a consistent 110-150 ping, which significantly hinders our ability to compete effectively, especially in comparison to players with 0-40 ping. This latency discrepancy places SEA players at a distinct disadvantage, significantly impacting the overall gaming experience and competitive aspect of Fortnite. We hope that Epic Games will consider the impact of this issue and take necessary actions to implement SEA servers to achieve competitive fairness for all Fortnite players.

We thoroughly enjoy playing and competing in Fortnite, but the high latency adversely affects our overall gaming experience and the competitive aspect of the game. Despite patiently waiting for six years, Epic Games has yet to address the challenges faced by Southeast Asia players competing with 110-150 ping, unable to reach the lowest possible ping.

This high latency prevents us from effectively competing with players having 0-40 ping, resulting in a disadvantage when matched against them. It is our sincere hope that Epic Games will recognize the impact of high latency and take appropriate measures to level the playing field for all Fortnite players.
