The Issue

I am deeply affected by the sight of beggars on our streets, not only because it presents hazardous situations, but also because it is disheartening to be unable to help at times. The disappointment that comes with not having coins to give is a feeling many can relate to. However, we must consider a more sustainable solution.

Street begging has become an alarming issue in our society. It's estimated that millions are forced into this lifestyle due to poverty or lack of opportunities (source: World Bank). This petition aims at advocating for their removal from the streets, not by forceful means but through encouraging them towards employment or education.

We need government policies that focus on providing these individuals with job opportunities or educational resources so they can lead dignified lives. We also need public awareness campaigns about the importance of supporting such initiatives rather than perpetuating street begging.

By signing this petition, you are supporting a future where everyone has access to basic needs like food and shelter through dignified means like employment or education. Let's work together towards creating a society where no one is forced into street begging out of desperation. Please sign this petition today!
