Advocate for Improved Game Mechanics in Diablo 4
The Issue
As a dedicated Diablo 4 player who has invested countless hours and considerable financial resources into this game, I believe it's time for Blizzard to hear our calls for change. We want to see the removal of the paragon board and the expansion of the skill tree to level 100, thus increasing gameplay depth and allowing for personalised character development. Evidence from similar games shows that extensive skill tree options elevate player engagement and satisfaction (Source: Video Game Player Behavior Study, 2020). Additionally, we request the removal of all trading barriers. Experience from past iterations of the Diablo series and other online games suggest that real money trade will persist regardless of these hurdles.
Furthermore, we urge Blizzard to allow all classes the flexibility to wear all items, including class specific uniques.. This enhancement will encourage strategic item use and expand gameplay variations. We also seek game balancing towards season 4’s tier 150 pits. All classes should face challenges at around 150, and only through meticulous min-maxing should reaching higher tiers be possible. These proposed changes reflect significant episodes in Diablo's history, particularly the acclaimed elements of Season 4.
These proposed modifications are not whimsical requests, but stem from a deep understanding of the game, supported by dozens of hours of gameplay, discussions with fellow players, and knowledge from expert gaming sources. Blizzard, it's time to listen to your dedicated players. Sign this petition to prompt Blizzard to consider these necessary improvements for Diablo 4.
P.S. Clans should have a purpose and the party size should be expanded to 8 players. The world is missing some of the feel from older games, where bosses were part of the world rather than instanced. Going through Chaos Sanctuary to eventually summon Diablo was part of what made a Diablo game.
