The biking and hiking season in Crested Butte is still in full swing, but the private-land section of the Snodgrass Trail is closed once again.

Here’s what makes that especially frustrating: only 18% of this 4+ mile trail crosses private land.

You signed our petition asking the U.S. Forest Service to approve a reroute that would move this section onto public land, helping protect public access to one of Crested Butte’s most treasured trails.

Now we need your help one more time.

We plan to submit the petition in September, and every additional signature strengthens the message. Please share the petition with one or two friends today and ask them to add their names alongside yours.
