There is a very large community of professional photographers and artists who are ready to quit Windows and OSX in favour of a Linux Desktop distro and are hindered in doing so because the Adobe CC suite ( specifically Lightroom and Photoshop ) does not run natively on Linux.

For many years Adobe Systems has blatantly disregarded any request to port the Adobe CC suite to Linux, thus preventing users from fully switching to their Linux desktop of choice. This petition is looking to change that.

I am well aware that this is no easy task and I am hoping that Linus Torvalds, Mark Shuttleworth of the Ubuntu Project, Ben Cotton and Matthew Miller of the Fedora Project, the Debian and the Linux Mint Communities, will all join us in this effort.
