The Issue

Let's Bring Fresh Blood to the Adirondack Nationals

For over 30 years, the Adirondack Nationals has kept the same cutoff year: 1979. That means my 43-year-old truck—a classic by any standard—doesn't even qualify. I started a petition to move that cutoff to 1985, and here's why it matters: we need new cars and new faces at this show.

This isn't about changing tradition. It's about keeping it alive. When a car show becomes too exclusive, it stops growing. Families stop showing up. The community that made this event special in the first place starts to drift away.

If you've felt frustrated watching your pride and joy get turned away because it's just a few years too new, or if you think it's time for the Adirondack Nationals to move forward while honoring what came before, please consider signing. What would you want someone to do if it was your truck at the gate?
