Add Sparkster and Axel Gear as DLC to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

The Issue

In 1993, Konami released a video game called Rocket Knight Adventures for the Sega Genesis. This video game featured Sparkster, an opossum knight armed with a jet pack and a magical sword. Sparkster's goal was to save the Kingdom of Zebulous from enemy forces, including his arch-rival and evil counterpart, Axel Gear. Sparkster was one of many "animal with attitude" mascots created following the success of the Sonic games in the Genesis era, but he stood out from others such as Accolade's Bubsy the Bobcat, Sunsoft's Aero the Acro-Bat and Tengen's Awesome Possum by having a more down-to-earth personality than them and because his games had polished controls and variety such as aerial shoot-em-ups and giant robot battles. In 2024, Sparkster's games were brought to modern consoles in the Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked Compilation, allowing old and new fans alike to be able to play them.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has become the definitive kart racing video game of 2025, and one of its reasons for it is having characters from non-Sega franchises as DLC, such as Mojang's Minecraft, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants, Namco's Pac-Man, and Capcom's Mega Man. It would be awesome if CrossWorlds were able to incorporate Konami's Rocket Knight Adventures as well. The two most likely characters to be incorporated in the game would be Sparkster and Axel Gear, the former being the good Rocket Knight whose goal is to save the Kingdom of Zebulos, and the latter being the evil Rocket Knight whose goal is to conquer it. Each of them would have their own race cars based on their armor, and there could even be a racetrack based on the Kingdom of Zebulos, with a remix of "Stage 1-1" from the original game on the Genesis.
