The Issue

McDonald's is the top fast-food change in Singapore, with 145+ outlets and serving 70 million customers annually. But Mcdonald's lacks one major thing: inclusions of plant-based menu items, something even some of their biggest competitors like Burger King have. More than 7% of people living in Singapore have plant-based diets, and that number is increasing each year. That's about 400k people who can't eat at one of the world's biggest chains!

The Singaporean plant-based population increases each year as more and more people are switching over for various reasons, such as animal welfare, environmental aspects and healthier diets. At this rate, McDonald's might even lose some of their customers- (even if it's only a little bit). These individuals (such as me) constantly feel left out when anyone talks about McDonald's. Does such a big corporation want minorities to feel discriminated against, especially in 2023?

With more and more people switching over to plant-based living, now is the perfect time for Mcdonald's to start re-incorporating plant-based meals, even if not for the profit, do it for me.
