Some good news! 

I spoke with David Fice this morning, the Manager for Community Infrastructure. He was quoted in the newspaper as saying the Studd Road path wasn’t being closed, even though the previous advice from Council was that it would be closed. 

David advised that the previous advice had been given incorrectly; without anyone having visited the site and noting that there was already a path, and that it would not make sense to close it. 
So, confirming that our Studd Road footpath will remain! 

We still are fighting for the Mulcahy Road path to be upgraded. Apparently this is now on the list “for future review and consideration” but I’m pushing for this to be done sooner, given how bad the path is and how unsafe it is to walk on the road. 

David indicated he’d like to join the site visit so we are hoping to have this occur next week.
