The Menard Sports Center is just three miles from my home, making it an ideal location for me to keep active and healthy. However, as a parent, I face a significant challenge. There are not many options for bringing children along to these workout sessions, especially if you lack nearby family members to help with childcare.

For many parents like myself in the community, access to quality childcare and activities at a nearby facility can make the difference between staying healthy and progressively losing mobility and health. A facility like the Menard Sports Center offering childcare and engaging activities for children would not only benefit countless families but also eliminate the need for parents to travel miles away when they choose to exercise or partake in sports activities.

Research shows that physical activity has numerous health benefits, not just for adults but also for children. Establishing a childcare center with designed children's activities can promote an active and healthy lifestyle for both parents and children. Additionally, it can foster a sense of community and encourage more families to participate in wholesome activities.

Incorporating children's activities and childcare services at Menard Sports Center would make the facility more inclusive, cater to the diverse needs of our community, and ultimately enhance the quality of life for many families.

We urge the management of the Menard Sports Center, as well as local government officials, to consider the establishment of a childcare facility and children's activities area within the center. By doing so, Menard Sports Center can become more accessible to families and serve as a front-runner in community-oriented sports facilities.
