There should be a cross walk from where Washington Street meets Garner to the other side of Washington so that students who use the back entrance to get to school can cross the street safely. Many students use the back entrance of the school to get to school every day to avoid the traffic at the front of the school. With cars parked on both sides of the street, and cars driving from both directions, it's hard to cross the street safely without risk of getting hit. I’ve used the back entrance to get to and from school for the past three years, and I’ve almost been hit while crossing the street at least two times a year. With a cross walk there cars will know to stop, look out for students crossing, and it will give a defined spot for students to cross the street.
