im O'Connor is currently serving as the Mayor of Novato, California, and holds the position of Director, Finance and Business Services at the University of California, Berkeley. He was appointed to the Novato City Council, representing District 3, following the vacancy left by Eric Lucan, who was elected to the Marin Board of Supervisors. Since January 2021, he has been responsible for financial management, budget development, and strategic planning for the Chancellor's Division at UC Berkeley. Before joining UC Berkeley, he held positions as Administrative Manager for Environment, Health & Safety at UC Berkeley, and as a Branch Manager at several banks, including Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Exchange Bank.
