Strathmore station unfortunately does not have a bathroom. I believe that this is a significant issue within the community. Many other stations have a bathroom, which is an essential resource to all residents of strathmore that regularly rely on strathmore station to commute, whether that’s to work, the city, school, etc. There are many instances where a bathroom could be needed especially considering the amount of people that go to strathmore station daily. With 100 signatures, I will take this petition to the moonee valley council and encourage them to make a change, and give the residents and visitors of strathmore the basic right to accessing a bathroom, because as a student regularly going to strathmore station, I know the struggles of needing to extend my journey in order to find a bathroom to use in times of urgency.
