It has been awhile. Second reading was yesterday with a unanimous vote of yes (the one absent is Mr. Darby who voted no at first reading). 

We need people on board to contact council and encourage them to vote no. The entire premise for the PD and the reason they want to vote yes is that the company and land owner could elect a larger board because its “as of right”. However, the PD approval will still allow a larger board because of current zoning laws (another large sign can be allowed 1000 feet down, but placing one sign in the middle will prevent this). We want council to say no. 

Please call each of them within the end of the week. Email them a short concise statement: this PD does not prevent 2 boards in the future. Vote no.
