Petition updateAct now to protect children from risky features and addictive design online

We’re delivering your message to Keir Starmer next week

Nearly 30,000 of you have already signed our petition to protect children from risky features and addictive design online. Next week we’re delivering your message straight to the Prime Minister.

Will you share the petition to help us get to 30,000 signatures?

With Keir Starmer expected to announce new plans to regulate social media companies very soon, now is the time to make our voice heard. We have a narrow window to make sure the government holds tech companies to account and puts families first.

We believe a better internet is possible. We want the government to set out strong plans,  including to force social media firms to ‘turn off’ dangerous or addictive features for kids’ accounts - like infinite doomscrolling, push notifications and contact with strangers.

Please help spread the word by sharing the petition on social media and with your family and friends now, so we can get as many signatures as possible before we deliver it to 10 Downing Street.
