We, the undersigned, are students who have been severely affected by the persistent and unexplained delays in the German visa appointment process at VFS Global, Delhi, specifically under the Visa with APS (Academic Evaluation Centre) Studies category. Many of us were waitlisted from the beginning of March 2025, and to date—more than two months later—we have not received payment links or any further communication regarding our appointments.

This delay is causing:

Uncertainty and stress during a critical academic transition

Risk of missing university deadlines for enrollment, visa issuance, and travel

Financial and emotional strain on students and their families

We acknowledge the volume of applications VFS and the German Embassy handle, but the lack of transparency, absence of communication, and unreasonable delays are unacceptable—especially for students who plan their futures months in advance.

We respectfully request the following:

1. Immediate clarification on the current status of waitlisted applicants from early March.

2. A clear, transparent timeline for issuing appointment/payment links.

3. Enhanced capacity or alternative solutions to expedite the student visa process before upcoming intake deadlines.

Education is a right, and delays in administrative processes should not be the reason students lose their academic opportunities abroad.

We urge VFS Delhi and the German Embassy to act now.
