Imagine retiring in the Northern part of the United Srates.  Typically, summer temps average out at 80 degrees F.  But that was last decade. Last year the Pacific Northwest experienced unprecedented heat waves that claimed the lives of seniors and others

Now imagine your doctor telling you, "Climb into this body bag.  We will zip you up inside with it packed full of ice.  It just might save your life."

According to the AP Newswire, that happened multiple times to people last summer and they are expecting more and longer lasting record high temps to continue trending. 

That is the predicted new norm unless we stop all carbon emissions immediately. That will not happen without strong demand for renewables, a plummeting demand for fossil fuels, and holding companies like ExxonMobil, Shell, and BP criminally liable for their crimes, siezing their assets, and using them to create a viable future.
