ACT NOW ON FOWNES STREET

ACT NOW ON FOWNES STREET
Il problema
To: Councillor Simon Hogg (Leader of the Council) and Councillor Kate Stock — Falconbrook Ward, Wandsworth Council
For over a year, residents of Fownes Street have endured threats, physical assault, windows smashed while families slept, and constant intimidation. Police have been called more than 50 times. Everything has been documented.
In December 2025, a court granted an injunction against a tenant. It has been broken multiple times since. The council has been made aware of every breach. One resident has already been forced to flee their home.
Yet Wandsworth Council has still not applied for contempt of court proceedings.
We the undersigned demand that Wandsworth Council:
Take urgent legal action against the tenant for repeatedly violating the court injunction.
Pursue the tenant's removal from the property through the courts.
Provide all residents of the estate with a written update within 14 days of the next court hearing due in March 2026.
The evidence is clear. Residents are exhausted, frightened, and let down. It is time for Wandsworth Council to act.
With May elections approaching, we are watching.
